Anthony Haas' Portfolio

Ideas I've built, and why I built them.

Five products, one habit: spot something that quietly costs people time, money, or motivation, then build the smallest thing that fixes it.

PREVUE

Know before you go.

The idea

A nightlife app that shows cover charges and wait times before you leave the house, so you can see what a night out will cost in time and money before you commit to it.

Why I built it

People get scammed when they go out. They pay too much for covers, run into hidden fees, wait in long lines, and end up with a bad night. Venues with poor satisfaction get less foot traffic, so it hurts both sides. I wanted going out to feel like a smart decision instead of a gamble, and to give small venues a direct line to the people who might walk through their door.

Pay for your time, not the ticket.

The idea

Scan a QR code at the door and the clock starts. Leave whenever you want, scan out, and pay only for the time you were there. The ticket price is the ceiling, so you never pay more than it. Hosts set the rate and run the night from their own dashboard.

Why I built it

A night out charges you for the whole night whether you stay or not. You pay $60, stay half the time, and once you've paid you're stuck: the set ends early, the vibe dies, your friends leave, and the money is already gone. Charging by the minute is fairer to guests, and it gives hosts a reason to keep the night worth staying for.

Web app · For independent artists

Tone

Your song. Your game plan.

The idea

An artist uploads a track, a real person listens to it, and Tone builds a personalized marketing campaign for that song. The first campaign is free, with no credit card.

Why I built it

Independent artists can make great music and still have no idea how to get it heard. Marketing advice online is generic, and agencies are built for labels with budgets. I wanted artists to get a plan made for their song by someone who actually listened to it.

PopMyGoals

Goals you get to pop.

The idea

Pop turns every goal into a balloon. Your top goal for today is the giant, deadlines make balloons swell, and finishing one earns a big, loud, confetti-filled pop. You can import events from Google Calendar, and your balloons follow you across devices when you sign in.

Why I built it

A to-do list is a flat list of chores, and checking a box barely feels like anything. I wanted finishing a goal to feel like a small win, and I wanted the one thing that matters most today to be impossible to miss.

LUCID

Someone in this car is dreaming.

The idea

A social-deduction road trip game for 2 to 8 phones. One of you is the Dreamer, and only the Dreamer doesn’t know the dream. Everyone else does. You talk it out, hinting at the dream but never saying it. Then the Dreamer guesses the dream, and everyone else votes someone out. A right guess makes the dream collapse. Vote out the Dreamer, and they’re caught.

Why I built it

I built Lucid for the Handshake AI Skills Challenge, and to gamify a new book I’m writing, so its ideas are something people can play together instead of only read.
